Overview

Instead of the conventional horn or bell, the fire alarm voice evacuation method utilizes speakers and amplifiers to alert inhabitants with an alarm tone and voice. Furthermore, it enables live speech notifications from the fire department or other emergency officials via a nearby paging microphone.
